We welcome Hilbert Scherrenburg to our team. A well-known one, because he did his graduation project with us. So we already know that he is a fantastic asset and we are therefore happy that he is interested in working for WeLLDesign (again). We would like to introduce him to you:
Hilbert studied Industrial Product Design at HAN. There he acquired skills that he can now apply at WeLLDesign, such as sketching and prototyping. What is even more interesting is that he was already involved in numerous multidisciplinary projects during his studies. Since almost every project in practice is multidisciplinary, this will serve him well at WeLLDesign. The ability to understand different perspectives on a design challenge is something that is of great importance to us every day.
What particularly attracted Hilbert to WeLLDesign was the type of products we design: products that solve concrete problems. This is something he finds particularly important: 'I prefer to work on products that make an impact. I always look for the core: what is the real problem that needs to be solved?'
During the design process, Hilbert finds it especially interesting to bring a product from concept to reality: 'You can make a working product with sensors and electronics. I find it interesting to delve deeper into this in order to achieve something in this way. If that is successful, it will be very satisfying.'
Hilbert has a positive impression of WeLLDesign so far: 'What I appreciate about WeLLDesign is the relatively small team and the short lines of communication. Within the team there is interest in each other and people are willing to support each other. The great thing is that we all have a similar background, but still each have our own expertise. In this way we complement each other well.'
