THE STUDIO
WeLLDesign is situated in Utrecht, in the Energy Solution Incubator, part of the Centrale Lage Weide. A part of the industrial heritage of this power plant is transformed into a hotspot for innovative companies, with the focus on the energy transition, building and transport. Obviously we fit perfectly in this regard with our focus on sustainable design in – amongst other things – building. In here, we have a spacious studio, conference room, laboratory for delicate prototyping and testen, and a workspace for large objects and test setups. The fact that we work in a power plant from the sixties, is noticeable every day. For us and our visitors. The protocols for entering the grounds and the building, the typical red banisters, huge fuse boxes and heavy duty lifting installations on rails. E building that breaths character!
