WeLLDesign and Zehnder
Zehnder (formerly J.E.Stork-Air) has been a client of WeLLDesign for decades. In the beginning, the collaboration was primarily focused on product innovation. The classic metal mechanical ventilation systems were reinvented into much better, more attractive, and cheaper plastic systems. This later led to the MX and ComfoAir Q. WeLLDesign pioneered the use of 3D CAD software and 3D printing, which was a prerequisite for efficient development.
MX
The MX roof fan – designed by WeLLDesign in 1993 – can be found on roofs throughout Europe and in the MX Duct fan a number of highly advanced techniques have been brought together. By applying direct current motors in combination with specially developed electronics, alongside significant energy savings, an unprecedented range of control options has been realised. Air displacement up to 5,000 m³/h!
Zehnder ComfoAir Q
WeLLDesign has recently developed the design language and styling for the Zehnder ComfoAir Q, Zehnder's flagship product. These high-efficiency home ventilation units with heat recovery achieve the best energy efficiency with the least noise nuisance compared to the competition and can be operated via an app. Look here for our project page About the Zehnder ComfoAir Q.
