Instantly printed city maps with Infotake
Design brief
InfoStop’s Maarten Langen is always keen to involve WeLLDesign in brainstorm sessions about new public space information ideas, and we then take on the concept development and design.
The product
. Infostop Pulling the Infotake’s handle produces a printed, folded A3-sized map. A built-in time delay of 30 seconds between two print jobs prevents misuse.
It also doesn't require a power connection. This makes it easy to place anywhere. An ingenious paper dispensing system can withstand extreme variations in temperature and humidity.
The Infotake
The Infotake is a perfect information provider. Its design has been in use for years at Schiphol, in many Dutch municipalities and along cycle routes.
Well-Designed, together with Infostop, has also developed the InfoGuide for the municipality of Delft., Workaway for the HRgroup and the OV – bicycle automatic Developed for the NS.
