Our highly valued former colleague, Manon Milner, will soon be taking part in the Tour for Life cycle ride. This is a multi-day cycling event where participants will cycle from Italy back to the Netherlands to raise money for successful cancer research.

Tour for Life

During the Tour for Life cycling event, participants cycle from Italy all the way back to the Netherlands. Back home. An unimaginably beautiful route, featuring climbs of world-famous Tour de France cols and rides through idyllic French villages.

Tour for Life is an initiative of the Daniel den Hoed Fund. Participants of Tour for Life are committed to scientific research into cancer. Every year, over 100,000 people are diagnosed with cancer. Still, over 45,000 people die from this terrible disease each year. The Daniel den Hoed Fund is fighting cancer by funding successful cancer research conducted by the Erasmus MC Cancer Institute.

Together, we give cancer no chance!

About Manon

Until recently, Manon Milner was employed at WeLLDesign. She made a valuable contribution to several projects and always managed to bring a smile to herself and her colleagues. Manon is a very good designer and eager to learn. But she is also very athletic, as can be seen here.

She will cycle the 1,300 km from Italy to the Netherlands in 8 days, overcoming 19,000 metres of elevation for a good cause. With a little encouragement, she will undoubtedly conquer the mountains and reach the finish line. WeLLDesign is sponsoring her, but the more sponsors there are, the more financial resources can be directed towards cancer research. Please share Manon's post as widely as possible. And don't forget to follow the sponsor link in the image above. If that doesn't work, this one will. here.

Besides WeLLDesign also sponsoring, we have also supported Manon in her preparation for this rather impressive bike ride. Covering 1,300km is no easy feat. You want all the help available for that. That's why colleagues also trained along.

We wish Manon the very best of luck!
