SPECTACULAR™ It solves a problem that every glasses wearer knows all too well: poor vision due to smudged lenses. A fingerprint. A smear of makeup. The bit of skin oil left on the lens by touching one's eyebrows. The remedy: grab a lens cloth and clean them. The only way to get your glasses so clean that you can see comfortably with them again. A method that requires two free hands and therefore cannot be done while driving, for example. Smudged glasses behind the wheel? Too bad.
SPECTACULAR™
SPECTACULAR™ has the solution for this. The SPECSTACULR™ glasses case makes the glasses sparkling clean again. The user places their glasses in the case and the lenses are then clamped between small brushes. With a single press of a button, the lenses are automatically cleaned. Without the addition of sprays or other aids. Your glasses are cleaned dry.
Prototyping
WellDesign was instrumental in SPECTACULAR™. Using intuitive and systematic Idea generation techniques, such as brainstorming and morphology respectively, has WellDesign Found the optimal operating principle together with the client.

Through intensive and systematic testing – in an iterative process – with different prototypes. Until we gained a grip on all variables: from material choice to polishing motion, from glass pressure to polishing speed and polishing duration. At POP 4, the fourth Proof of Principle, we had the right principle. That prototype proved that glasses of any size could be repeatedly cleaned safely. Even with contaminations that hardly occur in daily life.
