The challenge

The challenge is to design and develop the technology for attractive but inexpensive casings that allow a write-off the investments within the often very short economic life cycle.

Polaroid i-zone

The Polaroid i-zone is a handheld scanner that allows teenagers to share their Polaroid photos via the internet. Working in close collaboration with Polaroid, WeLLDesign created a radical redesign of a technical prototype. This resulted in a cute, small device that teenagers can take with them anywhere. All of this within a record time of 8 weeks for the design and engineering.
