Incredible, a young brand in the office furniture industry, was looking for a new desk that would embody its ‘next generation office’ ambition, inspired by the cradle-to-cradle principle. The next generation office is characterised by flexibility, openness, a task-oriented environment, interaction with others, and inspiration. The Incradible ONE follows Incradible's philosophy through its flexibility and task-oriented design.

The Incredible ONE

In close collaboration with INCRADIBLE, WeLLDesign has designed a completely new type of workspace. A single column base that can support two desktops, the Incradible ONE.

The visually ‘floating’ column base is integrated into a raised computer system floor. This base houses the mechanism for adjusting the height of the desk and simultaneously provides invisible cable management. The design of the ONE is made from durable materials: a steel column with a birch plywood desktop and an oak veneer or bamboo top layer. An acoustically insulated wool panel is used as a dividing screen.

The rounded corners, soft materials, sound absorption, full adjustability, and attention to personal privacy are characteristic of the One. Features specially integrated for the user.

Sustainable

The Incredible ONE is produced using sustainable sources (FSC recycled) and with sustainable, recyclable materials (wood and steel). After lease or purchase, the desk returns to the producer for the reuse of surrendered and recycled residual products.

In 2010, the One was awarded the 'Goed Industrieel Ontwerp' (Good Industrial Design) quality mark. To be allowed to bear this quality mark, the design must be more than just aesthetically pleasing. It must also be functional, innovative, and original. Respect and material choice are also of great importance. According to the jury, the One fully met these criteria.
