For years, few attractive metal models dominated the bicycle child seat market. Dremefa, a renowned supplier of car seats, decided to conquer this market with innovative products. Together with WeLLDesign, the Bobike Mini and Maxi bicycle seats were developed.

The result was the Bobike Mini and Maxi; for more than 20 years now the standard for safety and ease of use. Whether mounted on the front (Mini) or back (Maxi) of the bicycle, the comfortable Bobike complies with all applicable safety standards and has transported many young children in dozens of countries.

With the colourful, loose covers, the bicycle seats can be easily adapted to ever-changing market demands. Sometimes, special editions are even released to match a specific bicycle design. This also presented a unique sight in many a bike shop: bicycle seats on the wall, each with a different look. A beautifully diverse appearance, and at the same time, a cohesive image in the shop.

In addition, various accessories were developed, from footrests to windscreens and support brackets. The responsible method of attachment was a first in this industry. Instead of attaching the rear seat to the relatively weak luggage rack, the Bobike Maxi was attached directly to the frame.

WeLLDesign developed the unique and patented mounting system of Bobike Mini and Maxi, from design through engineering to supervising mould production.
