ASM, a supplier to ASML, Lenteq paint mixing machines, and Deutz are examples of machines that WeLLDesign has designed. With the ASM A412™ Smartbatch™ as the primary example.

WeLLDesign was responsible for the product identity of the ASM A412™ Smartbatch™ vertical furnace. ASM Europe, based in Almere, is a major player in the semiconductor industry. They focus on the production of computer chips. 

A412™ Smartbatch™

The ASM A412™ Smartbatch™ is a furnace that guarantees a cleanroom environment in which high-quality computer chips can be manufactured. These vertical furnaces are built for high productivity and flexibility, while simultaneously occupying as little floor space as possible. 

WeLLDesign made use of narrow, lightweight panels with a slight curve. A select number were made from reflective stainless steel. This was a deliberate choice to ensure the professional look that suits this type of product. The footprint was thus simultaneously minimised.
