A prefabricated neighbourhood based on the principle conceived by WeLLDesign

Our approach has been to build terraced houses with a minimum of on-site labour, preparing as much as possible under controlled conditions in the factory; each house is completed as a single unit.

‘Logistics’ is the guiding principle here. How do we ensure that the house is erected within 8 hours, using the minimum number of lifting operations possible within that time? This became the guiding principle for the requirements and specifications for the overall product and all its components. 

They are housing They are built according to the ‘zero on the meter’ principle. They have no natural gas connection and the roofs are completely covered with solar panels on one side.

The base is based on ‘platform thinking’ where form, dimensions and equipment can be varied based on a standardised platform. WeLLDesign has developed all components in detail using Refit Software.

We’re delighted to see that, once again, a neighbourhood can be built in no time at all based on this concept we’ve developed.

Also the myCuby bathroom system was conceived and developed by WeLLDesign as a logical next step.
