Compact tapsysteem David voor Heineken
The design challenge
Heineken wilde een tapsysteem voor kleine kroegen omdat daar alleen flesjes geserveerd werden. De operationele kosten voor de uitbater moesten minimaal zijn. Het bedrijf benaderde WeLLDesign met de vraag een tapbiersysteem te ontwikkelen dat geen onderhoud vraagt, dat eenvoudig plaatsbaar is en een lage kostprijs heeft. Dit resulteerde in de David biertap.
The solution
Hierdoor uitgedaagd faciliteerde WeLLDesign een Pressure Cooker sessie om het principe te bedenken. Het resultaat was een schematische tekening die als basis diende voor het gehele ontwerp. Een innovatief concept werd geboren, door Heineken volledig gepatenteerd. De David. Een mobiele biertap die overal geplaatst kan worden. Handig voor geïmproviseerde feestjes en samenkomsten zonder vaste bar.
Cleaning pipelines no longer necessary
The kegs are stored in the refrigerator under the beer tap and are equipped with a disposable beer line. This makes cleaning of the beer lines unnecessary. The draught beer system is compact, mobile, has a low cost price, and can be installed anywhere.
Universal solution
By cleverly grouping the components, the system is independent of the design. This allows the tap to be given the latest and most modern look without major engineering investments. The system remains the same. This also guarantees that the tap can be used for different brands within the Heineken brand. Brand or Amstel can give their own look to the same tap. The same system, but clearly distinguishable for both the operator and the customer.
