About WeLLDesign
WellDesign develops and improves physical products for companies across various technical sectors. We have been doing this for 48 years now. From initial idea and concept to engineering, prototyping and production preparation.
We want to grow further over the coming years. More interesting clients, more wonderful projects and further growth of our organisation. Marketing is going to play an important role in that.
The challenge
We are not starting from scratch. We have a website, are active on LinkedIn, use Google Ads and possess 48 years of interesting projects, products, cases and technical knowledge.
An initial marketing plan has also now been drawn up.
Our marketing objective is:
Making WeLLDesign structurally visible and recognisable to companies and individuals of commercial interest to us, so that the commercial approach becomes easier and leads more frequently to conversations and enquiries.
Now we are looking for someone to help us with this plan to shape further and, above all, to put into practice.
We want to grow further over the coming years. More interesting clients, more wonderful projects and further growth of our organisation. Marketing is going to play an important role in that.
What will you do?
Together with sales, marketing and our engineers, you will investigate how we can further develop the marketing of WeLLDesign in a practical and professional manner.
For example:
- To take stock of and improve our current marketing activities;
- Analyse LinkedIn, website and Google Ads;
- Researching suitable and affordable marketing tools;
- Brainstorming, creating and planning content;
- To use recent cases and special projects from 48 years of WeLLDesign;
- Translating the technical knowledge of our engineers into engaging content;
- Further developing a practical marketing calendar;
- Investigate how AI can contribute to marketing and findability;
- Improving the connection between marketing, website and sales;
- Measuring results and making new proposals based on them.
This is explicitly not a fully locked-down brief beforehand. We have ideas and a clear direction, but want to develop them further together with you.
So you’ll have plenty of scope to explore, experiment, make suggestions and actually put things into practice.
What are we looking for?
An undergraduate student who:
- is studying Marketing, Commercial Economics, Creative Business or a similar degree course;
- is interested in commerce and marketing;
- independent, inquisitive and practical;
- Good at writing in Dutch;
- Is interested in online marketing, data, AI and new tools;
- Willing to take the initiative;
- Enjoys building something up a bit further rather than just carrying out an existing working method.
Technical knowledge is not required. An interest in products, technology and B2B is far more important.
What do we offer?
- A challenging higher education placement with plenty of freedom and responsibility;
- A real assignment whose results we are also going to use;
- Space to try out your own ideas;
- Direct collaboration with sales, marketing, designers and engineers;
- Supervision and regular consultation;
- Space for a potential research or school assignment;
- A workplace in Utrecht, easily accessible by public transport;
- An internship allowance of €475 per month
What do we want to achieve together?
We do not expect you to set up our entire marketing organisation in five or six months.
Above all, we want you to join us makes a good start, further develops the existing plan and puts as much of it into practice as possible.
At the end of the internship, we want to know better together:
What works for WeLLDesign, what doesn't, what opportunities do we see and how can we build further on this from here?
