On the 3rd of April, the flu epidemic of early 2019 in The Netherlands was officially ended. For two weeks straight less than 51 on every 100.000 people went to their physician with flu affiliated complaints. Normally, a flu epidemic in The Netherlands lasts nine weeks. This one lasted fourteen weeks. Flu is a typical form of decease that thrives on the spread of bacillus. This spread can be prevented among others by using touch-free devices. In its 40 year existence WeLLDesign has developed various touch-free devices.
Miscea
There’s an imminent demand in the hygiene market for functionality, efficiency and comfort. Miscea came with the idea for a tap and dispenser combination; a new generation of taps.
WeLLDesign thought of a revolutionizing concept and executed its product development. Doing so, we realized a true innovation: a tap with the most modern sensor technology and feedback through LED. Only a hand movement is sufficient to get flowing water at the right temperature, while dispensing two liquids (soap/disinfectant and detergent).

Th touch-free operation delivers excellent hygiene and limits the spread of bacillus to a minimum. Together with external experts a energy saving transmission is realized and all plastic and metal parts are developed into the highest detail.
