Product Optimization Workshop
During the product optimization workshop, we will examine an existing product together. What works well, and what could be improved? Depending on your preferences, we will look at aspects such as user experience, appearance, cost price, sustainability, or performance. We will analyze the product and identify opportunities for improvement. Together, we will identify both quick wins and more far-reaching improvements.
Opportunities for improvement
As industrial designers, we look at existing products with a fresh perspective. We quickly spot opportunities for improvement—whether in ease of use, material usage, sustainability, or aesthetics.
Depending on the type of product, we use different brainstorming techniques to bring improvement ideas to the surface. We think along in terms of the technical aspects, while also considering the end user and the brand experience. The focus is on strengthening what already exists, without the need for a complete redesign.
This is always very inspiring and delivers concrete results. For example, we redesigned the medical oxygen carriers for Dräger and came up with a design that performed much better with a few simple adjustments.

The Result
At the end, you will have a mountain of concrete ideas on how to improve the product. Think of adjustments that make the product more user-friendly, more attractive or cheaper to produce. WeLLDesign can – if desired – of course play a role in the implementation of the improvements.
