Design brief<\/h2>\n\n

Blue4Green\u2019s pioneering technology opens up a world of possibilities to promote human and animal health and welfare.\u00a0Blue4Green<\/a>\u00a0helps professionals working with animals make an immediate diagnosis. This technology was to be integrated in a series produced, user-friendly, hand-held monitor.<\/p>\n

The PDA is used outdoors and therefore needed to be robust, with the Blue4Green cartridge instantly readable to its users.<\/p>\n\n

Industrial design<\/h2>\n\n

In collaboration with Blue4Green, WeLL Design co-developed the product design Labbook\u00ae. During the development process, mock-ups and prototypes were used to test and optimise the design.<\/p>\n

De Labbook<\/h2>\n\n

With its modest size, Internet connection and numerous additional features, the Labbook\u00ae is a fully fledged PDA. Veterinarians read @point-of-care data from the Blue4Green cartridge and can perform analysis within minutes.<\/p>\n\n

Time-saving allows rapid diagnosis, and if needed, direct intervention.<\/p>\n
