The beginning<\/h2>\n\n

ETNA Vending Technologies<\/a> ETNA wanted to launch a new line of espresso machines with an existing technical platform. ETNA invited three leading Dutch design agencies for a pitch. After an extensive benchmark of Dutch design studios, ETNA Vending Technologies has chosen WeLLDesign as its partner in the strategic development of automatic espresso machines. The Etna Profumo, which was presented at the Home Tech Fair, combines simple production and assembly with modern kitchen design.<\/p>\n

WeLLDesign began this project with extensive market research and developed a sophisticated design strategy. This formed the basis for a whole matrix of possible concepts.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

ETNA Perfume<\/h2>\n

This range of nine different concepts allowed ETNA to approach three different market parties, and won Melitta as their new client.<\/p>\n

As pitch winner, WeLLDesign was commissioned to further develop the casings of Melitta espresso machines into mass manufacturable components.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The design of some espresso machines formed from this matrix is still used today in Melitta\u00ae machines. The Profumo is part of the Caffeo\u00ae line.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

ETNA Caffeo\u00ae<\/h2>\n

The Caffeo line is a series of four fully automatic espresso machines for the consumer market. Commissioned by ETNA Vending Technologies, WeLL Design carried out the complete technical development of the plastic and metal components of the housing.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Melitta\u00ae has applied for a patent for the unique bean container with integrated selection mechanism. The product is marketed and distributed by Melitta\u00ae. Both Melitta\u00ae and Caffeo\u00ae are registered trademarks of a company within the Melitta Group.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
